PHOTOS: North Korea launches spy satellite

New photos released by North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency show the launch of a rocket carrying a North Korean military spy satellite.

North Korea said Wednesday it had succeeded in putting the satellite in orbit after two previous failures. The leader Kim Jong Un was on hand to witness the blast off.
