




Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, accompanied by the Rector and officials, bid farewell to students who had recently completed their exams for Distance Education at Sittwe University.
The Chief Minister oversaw the arrangements for the students' return to their respective hometowns of Rathaetaung, Buthitaung, and Maungdaw, utilizing Shwe Pyi Tan Speed Boat services.
The Chief Minister also visited Sittwe University, and met with the students, providing detailed information about the planned return logistics to their native towns.
Additionally, discussions were held with the Rector, Pro-Rector, and faculties to outline systematic plans for the return of students and to address working conditions for the university's staff.
Over 10,000 students successfully completed their distance education exams for the 2023 academic year at Sittwe University. This batch includes majors in Myanmar, History, and Economics.
