Financial Services: MEB notification regarding operational continuity

The Myanmar Economic Bank (MEB) issued a public notification on Friday, stating that MEB is operating various financial services in compatible with the country's market economic system.
The announcement emphasized that cash withdrawals are conducted in adherence to the rules and regulations set forth by the Central Bank of Myanmar.
In the event of a temporary suspension of operations at a specific MEB branch, the notification assured the public that services would remain accessible at other MEB branches, as statistical data for each branch is systematically maintained at the District, Region, and State Offices, as well as the MEB Headquarters. MEB further reassured the public that banking services are diligently provided for the benefit and interest of the people.
