Education Management Information System: EMIS won ASOCIO 2023 Digital Government Award

Education Management Information System – EMIS which is being implemented by the Department of Education Research, Planning and Training under the Ministry of Education won ASOCIO 2023 Digital Government Award. An award presenting ceremony took place at the Weston Justin hotel in Seoul, Republic of Korea during ASOCIO Digital Summit, held from 13th to 15th November.
Director General of the Department of Education Research, Planning and Training Dr. Than Than Myint and the Assistant Director accepted the award. They also attended the Pitch Section on 15th November. ASOCIO is one of the international organizations, comprised of IT teams from 24 Asia-Pacific regions.
It is implementing Digital Summit activities for promoting IT industry, domestic trading and investments. The ASOCIO Digital Summit 2023 was organized by the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT and Asia-Oceania Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) in collaboration with the Federation of Korean Information Industries and ASOCIO's Korean Member Association.
