Drug Seizure:710 million kyats worth stimulant tablets seized in Pinlaung

12.7 million stimulant tablets worth 710 million kyats and 5 kilos of methamphetamine were seized in Pinlaung Township of Shan State (South), according to the Myanmar Police Force.

On November 8th, at around 9:00 a.m, a combined team consisting of Anti-narcotic Drug Unit confiscated these stimulant tablets while searching Toyota HIACE vehicle driven by MaungMaung Win, together with ZeyarKyaw, Arkar Min MyatKyaw and Lay Myint, running from Pinlaung to Tatkone Township.

Further investigation led to the arrest of an accomplice Myo Aung @ Thila who involved in this case, along with the seizure of Probox vehicle at his home at Oak Thar Ward of Bago Township.

According to the interrogation, the seized stimulant tablets were being transported from Shan State to Mon State and the suspects are taken actions in line with the law. The investigations are underway to expose those who involved in the case.
