Update on Armed Conflicts: Information Team Leader provides update on armed conflicts

Major General Zaw Min Tun, the leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council, provided updates on ongoing armed conflicts until the nightfall of November 12th. The situation near Parsinkyaw in the Kokang area of northern Shan State continued, with Tatmadaw responding in a controlled manner.
The MNDAA launched an attack near border mile post No. 125, using heavy weapons with the intention to cause misunderstanding between the two countries. He also explained Tatmadaw's strategic engagements in Kunlon, with MNDAA documenting activities in certain areas.
Operations are continuing in Theinni, and there have been attacks in Loikaw of Kayah State, met with counteractions by Tatmadaw. In Hteechaint, Tatmadaw successfully drove out KIA terrorists who had entered the area, securing bodies and weapons.
Major General Zaw Min Tun expressed recognition and gratitude to the Tatmadawmen, Myanmar Police Force and People’s Militia for their contributions to national defense and security duties in Hteechaint, Loikaw, and northern Shan State, as well as other areas across the country.
