Arab, Iranian and Turkish leaders arrive at Gaza summit in Riyadh

Presidents of Palestine, Egypt, Iran, Syria and Turkiye and the Prime Minister of Lebanon arrived at Riyadh for the OIC/Arab League meeting. The summit is expected to underscore demands that fighting in Gaza end.
The emergency meeting of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) comes after Hamas militants' October 7 attacks that Israeli officials said about 1,200 people dead, mostly civilians, and 239 taken hostage.
The Arab League and the OIC were originally meant to meet separately, but the Saudi foreign ministry announced early Saturday that the blocs' summits would be combined.
