Strengthening Economic Ties: CBM Gov. metwith Bangladeshi & Russian Ambassadors

Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM), Daw Than Than Swe, met with Bangladeshi Ambassador to Myanmar Dr. Md. Monwar Hossain in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

They explored matters related to the direct payment of Taka/Kyat in trading, rice exports, and banking processes between Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Similarly, Governor Daw Than Than Swe met with Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Iskander Azizov on a separate occasion to discuss the implementation of a payment card system, fostering a convenient payment process and boosting the tourism sector between Myanmar and Russia. They also talked about the banking sector in providing assistance for the trading process.
