Fire Rescue Equipment and Vehicle: Sagaing Region CM handed over equipment and vehicle

A ceremony of handing over the fire rescue equipment and vehicle purchased with 2022-2023 Sagaing Region Government Fund was held at the office of the Sagaing region Fire Service Department on Friday. The ceremony was attended by Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, Region Advocate General and departmental officials.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minster highlighted the exerted efforts of the members of fire brigade to ensure the safety of the citizens. He said that it’s important to provide rescue assistance effectively in accordance with the set rule and regulations. Every fire brigade member is urged to practice continuously to strengthen both man and technological powers and to keep up with the developing and changing fire services techniques across the world.

Improving the skills of each member will enhance the capacity of the whole brigade.

Then, the Chief Minister handed over the documents related to the fire rescue equipment and vehicle to the Director of the Sagaing Region Fire Service Department. The ceremony was concluded by the closing remarks of the director of the fire service department.

Next, the Chief Minster and party oversaw the demonstration of the fire rescue equipment and vehicle and inspected the Command & Control Center and coordinated requirements.
