Social Welfare: MSWRR Union Minister receives UNHCR delegation

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win received a delegation led by UN Assistant Secretary-General and Assistant High Commissioner for Operations Mr. RaoufMazou at the meeting hall of the Ministry office on Thursday.

During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on the delegation’s tour in Maungdaw and Sittwe of Rakhine State and Taunggyi of Shan State, status of signing MOU between the Ministry and UNHCR, issues on entry visas and local travel for the foreigners of UNHCR. The discussion also included matters related to humanitarian assistance and future cooperation plans.
