Power Sector Development: MOEP Union Minister meets Russian Delegation

Union Minister for Electric Power, U Nyan Tun, received a delegation led by Mr. Alexander Sergeevich Shatirov of the Fund RC-Investments of the Russian Federation at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they discussed the successful implementation of cooperation projects in various sectors between the two countries and Russia's assistance for the development of the electric power sector. They also explored plans to generate electricity through solar and thermal energy power in collaboration with Russian companies, as well as potential future cooperation with local companies in electricity projects.
