Wushu Sport: 2023 Yangon Region Chief Minister’s Cup Wushu Tournament

The 2023 Yangon Region Chief Minister’s Cup Wushu Tournament jointly organized by the Yangon Region Government, Myanmar Wushu Federation and Yangon Region Wushu Sub-Committee kicks off at the Thuwunna National Sports Indoor stadium (1) in Yangon on Monday.
The tournament aims to emerge the new generation from basic education high schools in Yangon Region and participants will compete in 4 types of events. The winners from each event, best sport players in men and women will be awarded medals and cash prizes.
And the township with the most medals will also be awarded trophy and cash. The selected athletes from the tournament will be trained for the 2024 National Sports Competition. The 2023 Yangon Region Chief Minister’s Cup Wushu tournament will take place for 2 days from 6th to 7th November and participating by 116 young athletes from basic education high schools in Yangon Region.
