Science and Technology: MoST Union Minister attends Belt and Road Conference

Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw attended The Belt and Road Conference on Science and Technology Exchange organized by Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China in Chongqing on 6th November.

After the opening ceremony, the Union Minister met with the young scientists at the Belt and Road Forum where he gave the opening speech saying the ability, research and invention of the young scientists are crucial for the future world and its people and called for to put collaborative efforts while solving the challenges that effect on the world and the people.

Afterwards, the Union Minister attended the Regional Science and Technology Ministers Meeting and discussed about building closer cooperation in developing science, technology and inventions and forwarding the development with modern inventions. And he attended the dinner hosted by Minister of Science and Technology China along with regional minsters of science and technology.
