Union Minister's Inspection Tour: Edible Oil Storage and Trade Center renovation

Union Minister for Commerce, U Tun Ohn, along with officials, conducted an inspection on Sunday at the edible oil storage tanks at Htee Tan Jetty in Kyimyindaing Township.
During the visit, he oversaw the storage process, distribution, and safety measures to ensure the well-being of consumers.
Following this, the Union Minister visited the Myanmar International Trade Center located in Pabedan Township. He inspected the booths showcasing products from small and medium-sized enterprises and the progress of the office building's renovation.
The center's renovation is expected to be completed in February 2024. Once completed, it will serve as a venue for hosting Macro Products Expos, seminars, and training sessions. In the afternoon, the Union Minister paid a visit to Myanmar Inspection and Testing Services Limited in Dawpon Township.
He provided instructions for conducting quality testing to ensure the healthiness of imported products and meeting the required standards for export items. He also emphasized the importance of collaboration with the Food and Drug Administration to carry out these tasks effectively.
