Sports Facilities: MOSYA Union Minister inspects sports facilities in Yangon

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, U Min Thein Zan, along with officials, visited the Padetha Sports Ground in South Okkalapa Township of Yangon Region on Wednesday. During their visit, they inspected the construction of a hostel and training camps and provided instructions for the opening of a track and field training camp as well as a new kitchen room.
Later, they assessed the construction progress of a 1,200-capacity bleacher seating area in the eastern part of the stadium and the completed renovation of the stadium floor. They also provided instructions for the systematic organization of sports events, the conduct of camp training for sport teams in the Yangon Region, and the long-term maintenance of the sports facilities.
