Honouring Ceremony: Certificates of honour presentation and dinner

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Tuesday evening attended certificates of honour presentation regarding the 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition and honourary dinner at MICC-II in Nay Pyi Taw.

In his speech, the Senior General said praised those who made efforts to have successfully held the Performing Arts Competition. The country is rich in cultural heritage, traditional customs and fine arts.every citizen can be proud of these precious jewels in the middle of the world as a national characteristic that has existed for a long time.

If young people love foreign cultures and disregard their own cultural customs, nationalism will be weakened, the Senior General added. And, certificates of honour were presented.

The 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competitions 2023 was organized with the objectives to uplift national prestige and integrity and to preserve the cultural heritage and national characteristics, to explore, preserve and uplift the traditional cultural heritage of performing arts of ethnic nationals and national cultural characteristics to explore and preserve the traditional cultural heritage for the young generation and further propagate the national spirit and to support measures in the field of national culture ensuring the development, peace and tranquility of the State.
