Myanmar / China: SAC Chairman receives Minster for Public Security

Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a Chinese delegation led by Member of the State’s Council and Minster for Public Security Mr. Wang Xiaohong at the reception hall of the office of the State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning of 31st October.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged their views on enhancing friendship and diplomatic relations between the two countries, the attacks of the MNDAA insurgents in the northeastern region of Myanmar to disrupt the stability of Shan state, actions against illegal online gambling, communication fraud, illegal drug production and trade in Laukkai area and power intervenes by one of powerful countries in the internal affairs of other countries including Myanmar, the ethnic armed conflicts, influx of weapons and ammunition and cooperation for the law enforcement and to form security teams.

After the meeting, the Senior General and the Member of the State’s Council of the People’s Republic of China and the Minster for Public Security exchanged memorable gifts and took a group photo together with the attendees.
