Buddha Pujaniya Festival: Pagoda Festival begins in Mandalay

133rd Buddha Pujaniya Festival of Maha Lawka Marazein Kuthodaw Pagoda and Nan Myay Bon Tha San Nan Daw Yar Sandar Muni Pagoda began on Friday.
The opening ceremony of the festival took place at the southern stairway of Maha Lawka Marazein Kuthodaw Pagoda with the attendance of Chief Minister of Mandalay Region U Myo Aung and officials.
During the Buddha Pujaniya Festival, Soon Offering Ceremony will be held at 7:00 am in the morning of 31st October, with offering meal to 2,500 members of the Sangha.
