





A ceremony of giving Hepatitis B vaccine to the members of Sangha and nuns residing in Sarthintaiks, monasteries and nunneries in the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw organized by GI and Liver Foundation-Myanmar in commemorating World Hepatitis Day was held at Mahadhammikarama Ohn Taw Pariyatti Sarthintaik in Pyinmana Township in the morning on 25th October.
Members of Sangha led by the presiding Sayadaw of Mingalarzayyon Pali Takkatho monastery in Pyinmana Township, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin OoLwin and wife, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than TunOo and members, Patron of GI and Liver Foundation-Myanmar Lt-Gen Aung Than Htut (Retired), donor U Myo Aung from Ever Meter Co., Ltd, Liver Specialist Lt-Col (Retired) Professor Dr. KyawSoeTun and departmental officials attended the ceremony.
The congregation led by the Union Minister and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman observed five precepts and offered offertories to the members of Sangha. The Patron of GI and Liver Foundation-Myanmar and Liver specialist clarified regarding with the foundation and the giving Hepatitis B vaccine and the Union Minister and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman expressed words of thanks.
Then, the Union Minister and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman looked round giving Hepatitis B vaccine to the members of Sangha, giving healthcare of Eye, Operation and General diseases for the members of Sangha and nuns by the medical specialty group from Pyinmana Township 200-bed hospital and the military medic corps.
