Regional Development : Taninthayi regional work coordination meeting held

The regional work coordination meeting on implemneting the development of border areas and national races was held at the regional government office in Dawei township of Taninthyi region on 24th October.

At the meeting, Chairman of working committee on implementing the development of border areas and national races, Taninthayi region chief minister U Myat Ko said, to constantly implement the development works of border areas with momentum in reigons and states, regional working committees have been foremd and this meeting is the first time for Taninthayi region.

It is needed to implement focusing on the development of socio-econoic life of the people, gaining eternal peace for the whole country and getting smooth transportation access throughout the country. The relevant committtees are urged to cooperate with regional committees to implement the development works of border areas including stability, rule of law and Strengthening of ethnic unity.

Afterwards, Committee secretary, Region Security and Border Affairs Minister Min MIn Latt reported the work implementations of regional and sub committees and then, committee joint secretary U Yan Lin Aung explanied about the work measures of Road, Bridge and Building Development Sub Committee and the committee members shared the current and ongoing work progess, on which, Region Chief Minister coordinated necessary matters.
