Regional development: Kachin State CM inspected regional development tasks

The Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan joined the collective cleaning tasks along the fence of Myitkyina airfield by the Union Road in the morning on 23rd October.

The cleaning tasks was carried out by the officials and staff members of City development committee and members of Kachin State Clean and Green Team and the Chief Minister together with the state minister for natural resources oversaw the digging low lying places for fish breeding.

Afterward, the Chief Minister held a coordination meeting with the State ministers and departmental officials at the Malikha Hall of the State government to organize the days of religious and cultural significance.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister gave a speech regarding with organizing the days of religious and cultural significance to maintain the traditionals and inpart the cultural heritages to the new generations.

Then, the secretary of State government clarified the status of organizing ceremonis on the days of regious and cultural significance and the national level ceremonies and the arrangements to organize the Thadingyunt, Dazaungdine and collective Kathein festivals as well as new hervesting festival, Christmas, Independence Day, Kachin State Day Union Day and Myanmar traditional Mahathingyan festival and the advantages, disadvantages and challenges.

Next, the Chief Minister coordinated requirements to hold the traditional festivals. Then, the Chief Minister together with the State ministers and departmental officials inspected the agricultural and fish breeding.

The chief minister together with the chief justice of state high court, state ministers and departmental officials enjoyed the football match of group stage  of 2023 Chief Minister’s Cup inter-ministerial football tournament organized by the state government.
