






The 2023 Mid-Year Myanmar Gems Emporium at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw continued its 3rd day on Sunday. Local and foreign jewelers viewed the pearl lots from No. 151 to No. 300 and put their tender forms. On this 3rd day of the Emporium, 150 pearl lots were sold.
It’s reported that 160 gem lots will be sold on the 4th day. Patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium Central Committee Union Minster for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi visited this 3rd day sale at the Maniyadana Jade Hall, oversaw tender process and sale and gave necessary instructions.
Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi attended the certificate presentation ceremony for the donation of 68 items in six types of teaching aid by China's Pingzhou Gemstone & Jade Association and Yan Yangho International Jewellery Co., Ltd to the Shwe Kyar Pin Gems & Jewellery Vocational School at Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday morning.
During the event, the Union Minister expressed his special gratitude for the donation of educational materials, and mentioned that it would contribute to the development of the finished jewellery sector. Frank and cordial Discussions related to the development of finished jewellery were conducted.
After that, the Union Minister presented certificates of appreciation to the officials of the donor company.The 2023 Mid-Year Myanmar Gems Emporium is set to take place till the 28th of October, selling 300 pearl lots, 160 gem lots and 4,045 jade lots, it’s learnt.
