Social Protection: Union Minister attends meeting on Index Calculation

A coordination meeting on Social Protection Index Calculation was held in Nay Pyi Taw with the attendance of the Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister highlighted that social protection tasks implementation are staged in the Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan – MSDP.
Also, the reports are drafted on tasks implementations in accordance with the National Indicator Framework- NIF. The social protection tasks must be continued for the interests of the public.
As the tasks affect the public directly, the accurate data are required in calculating the index, he added.
Then, the Union Minister attended the completion ceremony of Social Enterprise training jointly organized by Naypyitaw State Academy and the Department of Social Welfare at the Naypyitaw State Academy.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister encouraged the women involving in economic sector and digital literacy and financial inclusion tasks and the emergence of women entrepreneurs and women technicians for the development of the socio economic lives of the people.
It was followed by presenting certificates of completion and honorary gifts. It’s learnt that the training was attended by 15 trainees from Domestic Vocational School and Women Development Centers and the trainers from Naypyitaw State Academy provided courses.
