Israeli PM Netanyahu visits soldiers near Gaza border

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with soldiers from the Israeli forces Golani Brigade 51st Battalion at an assembly point near Gaza. Israel has vowed to destroy Hamas after the attack from the Gaza Strip on October 7, killing at least 1,400 people, mostly civilians who were shot, mutilated or burned to death, according to Israeli officials.

Hamas gunmen also took nearly 200 people hostage including foreigners. More than 3,785 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have died in the bombing, according to the latest toll from the Hamas-run health ministry.
