Rubber Export: About 300,000 tons expected in 2023-2024

The production of Myanmar rubber is annually estimated at 300,000 tones and mainly exports to China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. Myanmar aims to export about 300,000 tons of rubber to foreign markets in the 2023-2024 financial years.

According to an official of Myanmar Rubber Planters and Producers Association, the production of Myanmar rubber reached more than 360,000 tones and over 200,000 tons of rubbers were exported to the foreign countries. Rubber is mostly produced in Mon and Kayin states, Tanintharyi, Bago and Yangon regions in Myanmar.
