Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods, timbers and teak seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 17th and 18th of October, illegal goods including auto transfer switches, timbers, raw teak beds, teak settees, ceramic tiles, low-density polyethylene, vegetableoil, motorbikes and teak worth over 233 million Kyats were confiscated on the Muse-Mandalay Road, in Yinmabin township, in Muse township, at the Kawkareik(Tadakyoe) combined checkpoint, at the Nyaungkhashay X-Ray stationand in Taungoodistrict.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
