Illegal Trade Eradication: Illegal goods worth over 208 mln Kyats seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 11th, 14th and 15th of October, illegal consumer goods including full cream milk, Goat Milk shampoo, wireless karaoke speaker, energy drink and Dji drone worth over 208 million Kyats were confiscated at the dry port (Ywathagyi) container checkpoint, at the Kawkareik (Tadakyoe) combined checkpoint, at the Maeyan combined checkpoint and at the Mandalay International Airport. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
