Finland's former president and Nobel winner Ahtisaari dies

The former president of Finland and global peace broker awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2008, Martti Ahtisaari died at the age of 86 on Monday.

He was a president of Nordic for one six-year from 1994 to 2000 and founded the Helsinki-based Crisis Management Initiative with the aim of preventing and resolving violent conflicts through informal dialogue and mediation.
