Investment Opportunities: Myanmar delegation explores Russian Hydropower Plant

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun visited the Zagorskyaya PSPP Hydropower Plant near Moscow in the Russian Federation on October 13th.
During the visit, they toured various facilities, including the Water Intake Building, Observation Deck, and 500 KV Switchyard. They also had the opportunity to observe the power plant's operations and visited the control room.
At the meeting room of the Power Plant, Russian officials provided insights into the manufacturing of turbine generators, technical support for hydropower generation, design creation, distribution of construction technologies, and human resource development, as well as the potential for investment in Myanmar's energy sector.
Union Minister U Nyan Tun expressed a strong desire to enhance cooperation in the field of electric power generation and extended an invitation for more investments in Myanmar.
