Cleaning and greening: Weekly cleaning and greening tasks carried out in Magway

For the cleaning and greening in Magway Region, Districts and Townships in the Region carry out the collective cleaning and greening tasks weekly on Saturday. In the morning on 14th October, the departmental personnel carried out the clean, tidy and pleasant in the compound of Magway Teaching Hospital and Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, Commander of Magway Airbase Col. Than Naing Nyunt, region ministers and departmental officials viewed and gave words of encouragement.
Under the supervising of Magway Region Government, the collective cleaning and greening tasks were carried out by the Tatmadawmen, General Administration Department personnel, members of Myanmar Police Force, members of Fire Brigade, Magway Township Development committee staff members, ward administrators and volunteers.
The collective cleaning and greening tasks were carried out by about 230 personnel from the departments and civil society organizations and those were served with Myanmar traditional snacks and purified drinking water bottles.
Similarly, under the guidance of the Magway Region Government, each Township in the region carried out cleaning and greening tasks at the pagoda compounds, precinct of office buildings and schools every Saturday, it’s learnt.
