




Although water level has decreased in Bago Township, 22 temporary camps are opened for over 17,000 flood-affected people from lowland areas in accordance with the statistic on the 13th of October. And, volunteer teams and well wishers from all regions and states carry out their donation daily at the temporary Natural Disaster Management Office which is opened at Bago Region Sasana Beikman.
On 14th October, Myanmar Rice Federation, Myanmar Rice and Paddy Traders Association, Myanmar Rice Miller’s Association, Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers Association, entrepreneurs, volunteer teams and many other well-wishers made donation at the office.
Chairman, Myanmar Rice & Paddy Traders Association, Nay Lin said "Here, our association donates 10 million kyats and Myanmar Rice Federation donates 40 million kyats for flood-affected people for the first time. And, we have plans to donate for rehabilitation works in flooded areas as second time."
Ashin Panna Boga, Taung Pula Taung said "I announced for donation through my personal and Taung Pula Facebook account. Many well-wishers from all regions and states including me participated in donation and we donated over 20 million kyats for the flood-affected people in Bago Region."
Temporary Natural Disaster Management Office at Bago Sasana Beikman will be opened for a few days for the convenience of well-wisher when they make their donation and in distributing the donated items to the flood-affected people.
