Following the instruction of Turkish President Erdoğan, Turkiye has sent humanitarian aid to Egypt on 2 planes to be delivered to Gaza where humanitarian needs such as electricity and water are blocked, include food and emergency health supplies.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been going on for 7 days. Turkiye continues its diplomacy traffic for a ceasefire in the region. Two Turkish Air Force aircrafts carrying aid supplies landed at Egypt's International El Arish Airport.
There are 7 border gates in the Gaza Strip, where more than two million Palestinians live. 6 of them are under the control of Israel and remain closed. The Egyptian-controlled Rafah border crossing is seen as the only point where humanitarian aid can be delivered.
