



The ceremony of 8th Anniversary of Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) will be celebrated in MICC-2, Nay Pyi Taw on 15th October in grand scale.
By the invitation to the NCA signatories EAOs and Non-NCA signatories EAOs to attend the ceremony, NCA signatories Kayin national leader Saw Mutu Say Poe, Chairman of Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) General Yawd Serk, Chairman of Lahu Democratic Union-LDU Kyar Solomon, the NCA signatories’ leaders U Khun Okkar, U Khaing Soe Naing Aung, U Myo Win and invited EAOs representatives arrived at Nay Pyi Taw by Air from Tachileik in the afternoon on 13th October.
The EAOs leaders were welcome by the members of National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee, officials concerned, national races from the Department of Fine Arts under the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, departmental personnel and the people desired for peace by holding miniature State flags and placards bearing “Perpetual peace is the real aspiration of the people”, “Achieving peace is the true desire of all citizens”, “Let’s hold talks for peace in the Union” etc. Similarly, the representatives from the each EAOs are leaving for Nay Pyi Taw from the relevant Regions and States, it’s learnt.
