Bomb Attack in Kawtkareik: Student killed, three critically injured

A student was killed, and three others were critically injured in Kawtkareik, Kayin State, due to a bomb attack on Friday.
The attack was launched at the Basic Education High School (Branch) by the KKO (Separated) Group and PDF terrorists when students were leaving the school after sitting for their mid-term exams.
The security forces sent the injured students to Kawtkareik People’s Hospital to provide medical treatment. The terrorists launched the attack with the intention of threatening the lives of students and teachers and halting learning.
This act is considered a war crime according to the Geneva Convention and International Law, and necessary action will be taken by the security forces.
