Flood in Bago: Providing cash and food items for the flood-affected people

Chairman of Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation Dr. Thet Thet Zin together with Vice Chairman (1) Tin Tin Latt and officials donated food stuffs and cash for the flood-affected people in Bago Township on Friday.
They first met with the Chief Minister for Bago Region and Deputy Commander of Southern Command at the Natural Disaster Management Office and donated over 3 million kyats and foodstuffs for the flood-affected people and Secretary of Bago Region Government presented a certificate of honors.
Then, they visited the Relief Camp opened at Shwe Bhone Pwint Pagoda, and provided lunch boxes, snacks, beverages, drinking water and instant noodles to the 1,533 of flood-victims. They then paid homage to Shwe Bhone Pwint Monastery Sayadaw and offered the offertories and cash.
After that, Chairman of Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation together with Chairman and members of Bago Region Women’s Affairs Federation went to the flooded areas by boat and provided foodstuffs for the flood-affected people in the wards of Bago Region.
