Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods: Central Committee meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

The Central Committee on Ensuring the Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods convened its work coordination meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

The Committee Chairman, member of the State Administration Council, Union Minister General Mya Tun Oo attended the meeting and delivered a speech, emphasizing the committee's commitment to ensuring the smooth flow of commodities through effective coordination among the relevant ministries.

He mentioned that the committee would make rigorous efforts to facilitate the flow of goods, including making necessary amendments after assessing the major tasks at the jetties, airports, and border trade posts.

He added that efforts will also be made to prevent a trade deficit and place a strong focus on increasing exports while maintaining reasonable prices for essential commodities through systematic checks and balances.
