Farm Mechanization Training :45 trainees attend the 12 days course in Minbu

A ceremony to open a basic agricultural machinery operation and maintenance course was held at the No. 46 Industrialized Farming Camp under the Agricultural Mechanization Department in Pwint Phyu Township of Magway Region on 9th October and it was attended by Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin.

At the event, Magway Region Chief Minister said the course aims for farmers in rural areas to conduct the process of mechanizing. It is necessary to promote the socio-economic lives of local farmers with the development of the agriculture sector for the state economy. The State Chief Minister also said the Prime Minister has already given guidance to implement the tasks of rural development and poverty reduction as national goals.

He expressed that the Agricultural Mechanization Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation has implemented the mechanized faring system as a model in the Nay Pyi Taw council area, Yangon, and Mandalay regions.

Also, about 2664.51 acres have been implemented in the Magway Region till 2023. Next, the staff officer of the Agricultural Mechanization Department of Minbu District explained the purpose and content of the basic course.

Then, Magway Region Chief Minister and officials took group photos with trainees and viewed the agricultural machines displayed in the basic course. The basic course will take place from 9th to 20th October and will be attended by a total of 45 trainees who are generations of local farmers.
