







Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win on Sunday visited the flood-affected areas triggered by heavy rains and relief camps in Bago Township.
First, the Chief Minister visited Myothit (Nga) Ward and Kyauk Kyi Su Ward and inspected relief measures by Tatmadawmen. He also visited relief camps and provided foodstuffs to the flood-affected people.
The Chief Minister also went to the regional disaster management office and held talks with officials to distribute foodstuffs to flood-affected people, to provide healthcare services and to provide boats to low-lying areas.
There, he also heard report and provided 100 bags of rice, 200 viss of cooking oil, eggs and fish for relief camps. It’s reported that over 56,00 are now taking shelter at relief camps due to the floods.
