Youth Affairs: Central Committee meets Tanintharyi Region Government

A work coordination meeting jointly organized by the Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee and Tanintharyi Region Youth Affairs Committee was held at the office of the Tanintharyi Region Government in Dawei on 6th October.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister U Myat Ko highlighted that Tanintharyi Region Youth Affairs Committee was reformed with 21 members and has been implementing tasks since 10th of May, 2023 and district and township youth affairs committees are also formed respectively.

In line with the 3rd social objective, tasks are being implemented for the sector wise development of the youths to become the powerful input of the nation’s development processes and to enhance the role of the Myanmar youth sector. Then, the secretary of Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee and Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs clarified the work undertakings for the development of the five kinds of strength of the youths, providing cash assistance for the outstanding youths aged between 15 to 35 for their vocational education and tasks to be implemented.

Likewise, the secretary of the Tanintharyi Region Youth Affairs Committee and the Director of the Department of Sports and Physical Education presented task implementations of the committee and the attendees made sector wise discussion. Then, the Chief Minister U Myat Ko donated 5 million kyats to the Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee.
