



The opening of refresher course for enhancing capacity building of the staff of the Ministry of Electric Power was held at the Central Training School of Ministry of Electric Power in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday morning.
The ceremony was attended by Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Htun, Deputy Minister and many other officials. During the ceremony, the Union Minister made a speech saying that the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity technologies evolving over time. He urged staff to constantly learn the technologies.
The Union Minister stressed change of the office tasks system from paper use to paperless system which is more systematically with computer. He also said that the Ministry of Electric Power has been carrying out to continuously supply the electric power for the public.
He urged trainees to actively carry out the tasks with the knowledge gained from the training, mutual discussions, exchange experience and be good personnels for the benefits of the department and public under the policy and rules set by the Ministry.
This opening ceremony is for the 4th 5-week sub-station construction, operation and maintenance training course, the 4th 5-week engineering management training course and the 3rd 8-week office training course.
