Tourist Visa On Arrival: Union Minister receives Chinese visitors in Myanmar

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khaing received Chinese visitors arriving Myanmar with Tourist Visa on Arrival organized by International Travel Asia Travels and Tours and Dehong Travel Company from Dehong Province of People’s Republic of China at the Ministry on Monday morning.

During the meeting, Union Minister expressed her welcoming speech and words of thanks to the Chinese Government for being allow Chinese visitors to Myanmar. She also said that China is at the top of global outbound tourism market and the Ministry is replying to the Chinese media to get the right information regarding the fake news.

She also urged Chinese visitors to share the actual situation in Myanmar. And she recommended 14 destinations to be visited by the tourists and made a wish to be happy trip for them.

After that, the leader of the Chinese Traveler group said that the trip is to combat the fake news about Myanmar on China’s social media and media teams who came along with them will share their good experiences and about the travel destinations of Myanmar to attract more tourists.

He also said that he hopes to promote the China-Myanmar relationships after the trip. The Chinese visitors group arrived from Mansi, China to Mandalay on 30th September by air and they will visit the travel destinations in Myanmar.
