Return to the Legal Fold: Welcome ceremony for 28 members of MNDAA

Twenty-eight members of the MNDAA have chosen to return to the legal fold, expressing their desire to live peacefully under the protection of the law and demonstrating their belief in the ongoing peace process led by the Tatmadaw.

A welcoming ceremony for these returning members of the MNDAA took place at the local station in Laukkai on Friday. The group of returnees comprises 20 men and 8 women, along with the surrender of 12 assorted small weapons, 12 various magazines, 217 rounds of ammunition, and 5 hand grenades. Officials extended cash assistance and provided relief items to the returnees.
