Airport Entry Pass: Non-passengers granted to enter the Terminal-3 area

Yangon International Airport (YIA) has granted permission back to the guests who accompanied with the travellers to enter the Terminal-3 area of the airport’s building since 28th September.

Passengers for travelling must enter from Gate No.1, 2 and 3 with complete officials travel documents and their family and friends who welcome or bid farewell must enter through Gate No.2.

Hnin Oo Lwin, Passenger said "I will travel from Yangon to Mandalay by MNA flight this afternoon. It is very convenience for my friends if they can enter the airport building to see off me. Normally, I say goodbyes to my friend near the entrance gate of building and I feel sorry. I feel better and safe when my friends and family can enter the building with me."

The guests of travelers must register to collect an access card at the registration area near gate No.2 and must enter the airport premises building with the access card only and exit from Gate No.3.

Win Htay, Guest said "I am bidding farewell my aunts who are going back to Kalay. I was hoping to be allowing back the guests to enter the airport building. It was not convenient to wait our family and friends outside the building because of weather and other matters. I really thanks to the relevant officials for this arrangement."

To ensure the safety and security of the public at the airport, relevant security measures will be maintained as usual and the guests will have to follow the security measures and need to wear their access cards in the airport building.
