Prize awarding ceremony: Shan State CM attended prize awarding ceremony

The awarded ceremony of Shan State Chief Minister’s Trophy U-25 Men/Women Volleyball competition of Self-Administered zone and district was held on 27th September in Taunggyi Township and was attended by Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye.

In the awarding ceremony, the final match for women competition was played by Taunggyi district team and Pao self-administered zone team and Taunggyi district team won the championship. Also the match for men competition was played by Taunggyi district team and Loilen District team and Taunggyi district team won the championship.

Then, the awarding ceremony was held and the Chief Minister and officials presented prizes and cash awards to the best players and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winning teams respectively.

On the 28th September, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye attended the opening ceremony of 24th Shan State Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition 2023 took place at the Convocation Hall of Taunggyi University in Taunggyi Township.

At the ceremony, Shan State Chief Minister, Chief justice of the State high court, Minister of State border Affairs and Rector of Taunggi University cut the ribbon and open the event. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister made a speech extended encouragement words to the participants.

Then, the 2nd winner of 23rd traditional cultural performing arts, constant of higher level education, Shan traditional dance group represent by Langhko district, Shaw traditional dance group represent by Muse district, Innthar traditional group represent by Kalaw district, and Hteteaingu orchestra saing troupe were staged the performance.
