Pre-work training for foresters: MoNREC Union Minister gave an opening remark

The Union Minister for National Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi gave a speech at the opening ceremony of foresters under the Forest Department pre-work training (1/2023) held at the assembly hall of forest research center in Yayzin, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 25th September.

In his speech, the Union Minister elaborated the implementations of the policies on the forest conservation, forest Administration and sustainable development and the objectives and the objective of opening this training. The Union Minister added that the Ministry is putting efforts for the refreshing of forest coverage in Myanmar, conservation of natural forests, establishment of forest plantation, preservation of watershed areas and mangrove forests and the protection of ecosystem and biodiversity as national duty. Union Minister also highlighted the subjects to be lectured at the training and urged the trainees to make endeavors to be reliable personnel.

Present at the occasion were the Deputy Minister, permanent secretary, heads of departments, trainees and responsible officials.
