Activities in Sittwe: Chief Minister makes inspections, gives encouragement

Chairman of the Rakhine State Natural Disaster Management Committee Chief Minister U Htein Lin together with the departmental officials made inspection on collective cleaning works of departmental staff near the Kan Nar Lan Library and along the shore in front of the Nursing and Midwifery Training School in Sittwe Township on Saturday.

Then, they viewed around the plantation of coconut palm and shelterbelt trees along the shore and gave necessary instructions. Also, after viewing collective cleaning works of Tatmadawmen and members of the police force at the Sittwe General Hospital, the Chief Minister and party encouraged them and coordinated the requirements.

During the arrival at the 500 Bedded General Hospital, the Chief Minister and party viewed around the blood donation processes of members of the police force and their family members, and Tatmatawmen in commemoration of the 59th Myanmar Police Force Day which falls on the 1st of October. Then, they provided nutritious food to the blood donors. It’s reported that a total of 251 people participated in blood donation event.
