




The Indonesia government has allocated funds worth 4.59 billion U.S. Dollar for 2024 elections in the state budget. Some of the funds have been used since 2022. In a virtual press conference held on Wednesday, Finance Minister, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, said the government divided the fund allocation for 2024 elections into three year-period.
Indonesia will hold presidential and legislative elections simultaneously on February 14 next year. The General Elections Commission (KPU) is scheduled to open registration for presidential and vice-presidential candidates next month.
