Departure for China: Union Minister, sports teams to 19th Asian Games

Myanmar athlete team led by Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan left for China on Friday to participate in the 19th Asian Games to be held from 23rd September to 8th October 2023 in Hangzhou.

This team is comprised of 13 athletes and coaches. They were seen off by Myanmar and Chinese officials at the Yangon International Airport.

It’s reported that men and women football teams, Wushu, Taekwondo, rowing and archery sport athletes and E-sports team already left for China for the upcoming Asian Games and there are more teams to leave in the coming days.
