Promoting Friendly Relations: DPM UM receives Chargé d'affairés of Qatar

U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs received Dr. Rashid Abdulla M.A. Al-Kuwari, Chargé d'affairés of Qatar on 20 September at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the call, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to promoting the existing friendly relations and bilateral cooperation, including the areas of trade, investment, and cultural exchanges, accelerating ongoing negotiations of bilateral agreements, repatriating of the verified displaced persons from Rakhine State, and enhancing collaboration in the regional and international arenas, particularly under the frameworks of ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council (ASEAN-GCC) and the United Nations.
