






Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, along with officials, inspected the progress of construction of village roads in Yaminthin Township on Wednesday.
The projects were being implemented by the Rural Development Department. During the inspection, the Union Minister heard reports on the transportation, water supply, and electrification needs and coordinated their solutions.
They then arrived at Thee Pin Village in Kyaukse Township and inspected concrete paving, water distribution, and the installation of water purifiers. The Union Minister gave instructions for the long-term maintenance of these facilities and provided for their needs.
Additionally, they inspected the asphalt paving of roads in Hngetkataung Village and instructed for the timely completion of these tasks.
In Ngalonkone Village, the Union Minister met with executives and member farmers of 10 Cooperative Associations, and heard reports on the monsoon paddy cultivation project being implemented with the use of the State Economic Development Fund.
The Union Minister instructed them to strive for achieving targeted yields for income generation. After addressing the needs of local farmers, the Union Minister viewed the thriving monsoon paddy plantations.
Furthermore, they inspected the operation process of the Mandalay Dairy Factory and gave instructions for operating at full capacity, ensuring availability of raw materials, and penetrating the market effectively.
The Union Minister later visited the Cooperative Accounting Vocational Training School, where they met with teachers and students and provided necessary resources. Additionally, they met with the staff of the Mandalay Region Cooperative Department and fulfilled their requirements.
